Dubai College publishes 18 morning-and-afternoon routes for 2026-27, but its official page also says the service is not door-to-door and that stops sit along existing routes. That is the test for every school below: an area name starts the enquiry, while an exact stop, provider confirmation and an available seat complete it. Dubai College transport page, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
The broader Dubai school shortlist for relocating families covers curriculum and school-quality evidence. This companion asks a narrower question: what does each school publish about getting one child from one address to campus?
The five-school transport comparison
The clearest transport match depends on the evidence your family needs. Exact stops are stronger than area names, and written seat confirmation is stronger than either.
The fee bases are not identical. Dubai College quotes per term, while the other four publish annual or academic-year totals. Across those four annual return tables, the lowest endpoint is AED 3,500 and the highest is AED 8,395. The transparent comparison is AED 8,395 minus AED 3,500, which equals AED 4,895. The inputs come from the current official pages linked in the table, accessed 26 September 2026.
An area name does not confirm a building
A route label such as Mirdif, JVC or Al Furjan is a discovery clue. It does not establish that a bus enters a gated community, stops near a particular tower, runs in both directions, has a suitable time, or has a seat.
The official pages make that distinction in different ways. Dubai College says its service is not door-to-door and places students at safe stops along existing routes. North American International School says a named area may be served only in certain sections. Dubai Modern Education School checks route coverage and seat availability before confirmation. Winchester says requests outside its standard bands can be discussed, while not every requested route can be accommodated. New Dawn makes its zones subject to both route and seat availability. These are official 2026-27 terms, accessed 26 September 2026.
The address test therefore needs two directions. A morning pickup and an afternoon drop-off can use different roads or stops, and Dubai College explicitly tells parents that its morning and afternoon routes are not identical. A workable morning map alone is incomplete evidence.

For the road-time part of the decision, use the separate Dubai school commute evidence worksheet. It keeps a live route capture distinct from a school's transport promise.
The five official evidence records
Each record below separates what the current page proves from what a parent still needs to obtain.
Dubai College: exact public stops before registration
Dubai College has the strongest stop-level public record in this set. Its 2026-27 page lists 18 morning-and-afternoon routes plus 7 late routes, with named stops rather than broad districts alone. The same page says the service is not door-to-door and that a safe stop is allocated along an existing route. Dubai College transport page, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
Registration for Term 1 uses the Maverick Parent App. The page publishes no registration deadline, so timing still needs written confirmation from the transport coordinator at mark.timmermans@dubaicollege.org. The fee is AED 2,500 per term return or AED 1,320 per term one way, with a 10% sibling discount. KHDA identifies the school as UK curriculum for Years 7 to 13 on a profile updated 14 May 2026. KHDA school profile.
Best documentation fit: a family that wants to compare an exact published stop in both directions before submitting the transport request.
North American International School: explicit section and deadline checks
North American International School publishes 10 area groups for 2026-27, but its eligibility note matters more than the list. It says buses use specific routes and may cover only certain sections of a named area, and it tells families to confirm service with Regal Bus Transport before finalising admission. NAIS transport section, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
The published return totals run from AED 4,025 to AED 8,395 for 10 months. The page lists instalment dates of 24 August 2026, 28 December 2026 and 29 March 2027. As of 26 September 2026, the first listed date has passed, so a family joining now needs a current payment and seat answer from RBT rather than assuming the page creates a place. The bus-service contact is Anees.k@naischool.ae, and the page lists the RBT office on 04 280 9343. KHDA identifies the school as American curriculum from KG1 to Grade 12 on its page updated 14 May 2026. KHDA school profile.
Best documentation fit: a family that wants a published fee band, explicit provider confirmation and dated instalments on one page.
Dubai Modern Education School: a visible verification workflow
Dubai Modern Education School makes the confirmation sequence unusually clear. A parent applies, the transport team checks route coverage and seat availability, the child is registered, payment follows, and the school confirms the service. The 2026-27 page groups addresses into three geographic categories. DMES transport page, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
Return fees run from AED 7,100 to AED 7,750, while one-way fees run from AED 4,260 to AED 4,650. The page says those amounts include 5% VAT. It publishes no registration deadline. The current form goes to transportation@dmes.ae, and the listed support number is +971 4 288 5115. KHDA identifies the school as American curriculum from KG1 to Grade 12 on a page updated 14 May 2026. KHDA school profile.
Best documentation fit: a family that wants the route and seat check to appear as a formal step before payment.
The Winchester School, Jebel Ali: western Dubai fee bands
The Winchester School publishes eight area or route bands for 2026-27, with annual return totals from AED 5,030 to AED 8,075. The lowest band names Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens and The Gardens at AED 5,030. This is still a band, not confirmation for every address inside it. Winchester transport page, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
School Transport Services runs the service and handles registration, payment and receipts directly. Families submit the student registration form and the relevant parent undertaking, then pay STS. The page gives no registration deadline and says requests outside the standard areas can be discussed, while not every requested route can be accommodated. The public contact is sde-win@sts-group.com and 055 2207470. KHDA identifies the school as UK curriculum from FS1 to Year 13 on its page updated 14 May 2026. KHDA school profile.
Best documentation fit: a family comparing western Dubai locations that wants to see the published annual band before asking STS about an exact stop.
New Dawn Private School: simple zone and one-way comparison
New Dawn Private School publishes six zones for 2026-27 and puts the main qualification beside the table: the criterion remains subject to seat availability and route. That sentence prevents a zone name from becoming an address promise. NDPS transport page, AY 2026-27, accessed 26 September 2026.
Return totals run from AED 3,500 to AED 6,500, and one-way totals from AED 2,625 to AED 4,875. Registration needs the current transport form and signed parent bus contract, submitted to the school transport department. The page publishes no deadline. The listed contact is transportmanager@ndps.ae and 050 8712703. KHDA identifies the school as UK curriculum from FS1 to Year 7 on a profile updated 14 May 2026. KHDA school profile.
Best documentation fit: a family comparing return and one-way costs by zone while keeping the seat and exact-route check open.
Best fit by family logistics
The five schools answer different transport questions well. Dubai College is the closest fit when a family needs public stop-level evidence before making contact. North American International School is useful when published payment timing and a clear provider caveat matter. Dubai Modern Education School is the cleanest process fit when a family wants route and seat verification to precede payment.
Winchester gives western Dubai families a compact annual-fee grid across eight address bands. New Dawn gives families a direct return-versus-one-way comparison across six zones. Curriculum and grade span remain separate filters, confirmed through KHDA, while the bus decision stays anchored to exact address evidence.
None of these documentation strengths proves that one school is academically preferable. They show which official record is most useful for a particular logistics question.

Parent evidence worksheet
The worksheet is complete only when each answer has a dated document, email or provider message beside it. A verbal answer can start the process, but it is harder to check after a route changes.
The practical order is school fit, exact transport evidence, then address comparison. Reversing that order can leave a family with a broad route name that does not serve the chosen building.
FAQ, checked 26 September 2026
Does a listed Dubai area mean a school bus will serve my building?
No. In this set, NAIS, DMES, Winchester and NDPS all qualify area coverage with a route, section, request or seat check. Dubai College publishes exact stops but also says its service is not door-to-door. Confirm the full address in writing with the provider.
Which of these schools publishes exact bus stops?
Dubai College publishes named stops across 18 morning-and-afternoon routes for 2026-27. Its page also says morning and afternoon routes may differ, so save both directions.
When should a parent register for a 2026-27 bus seat?
Use the current school or provider process as soon as the address is known. Among these five pages, only NAIS publishes specific instalment dates: 24 August 2026, 28 December 2026 and 29 March 2027. The first listed date had passed by this article's 26 September 2026 check.
Are the five published bus fees directly comparable?
Not completely. Dubai College quotes AED 2,500 per term for return service. The other four publish annual or academic-year return totals from AED 3,500 to AED 8,395. Compare the service direction, route band, payment basis and included terms before comparing the amount.
